Rotas da Juventude é uma websérie documental da Viração, uma organização com mais de 20 anos de atuação em educomunicação e mobilização social. A série apresenta histórias de jovens que, a partir de seus territórios, criam espaços de diálogo e justiça social, racial e de gênero.
A escolha pelas linguagens de colagem e stop-motion foi uma decisão estratégica e estética. A colagem tem uma história forte dentro de movimentos artísticos e políticos: é utilizada como manifesto e montagem crítica, no ato de recortar e recompor imagens. O stop-motion, por sua vez, traz uma fisicalidade que conecta o espectador ao processo de feitura, ao gesto humano por trás da imagem. Combinadas, essas linguagens criam uma peça que parece feita à mão, com intenção, por pessoas que têm algo a dizer.
A paleta de cores vibrantes reforça o caráter jovial e a vitalidade dos temas abordados: não é uma série sobre tragédia, é sobre resistência, cidadania e criação.
A identidade visual da websérie e animação da abertura foi desenvolvida por mim em After Effects, Photoshop e Illustrator.
"Youth Routes" is a documentary web series by Viração, an organization with over 20 years of experience in media literacy and social mobilization. The series presents stories of young people who, from their communities, create spaces for dialogue and social, racial, and gender justice.
The choice of collage and stop-motion techniques was a strategic and aesthetic decision. Collage has a strong history within artistic and political movements: it is used as a manifesto and critical montage, in the act of cutting and recomposing images. Stop-motion, in turn, brings a physicality that connects the viewer to the making process, to the human gesture behind the image. Combined, these languages create a piece that seems handmade, intentional, by people who have something to say.
The vibrant color palette reinforces the youthful character and vitality of the themes addressed: it is not a series about tragedy, it is about resistance, citizenship and creation.
The visual identity of the web series and the opening animation were developed by me in After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
